Morgan Stringed Instruments
Custom instruments, repairs, lessons and music by Scott Morgan
The age old craft of building fine musical instruments has been passed down from one generation to the next for centuries. The skills, knowledge, and intuitive understanding of wood required to consistently produce musical instruments of exceptional tone and beauty are first learned, then further developed through ongoing practice of the art form.
The art of luthiery is a continuum, a process of retaining time tested principles and practices while seeking new ways to produce instruments of outstanding beauty and tonal excellence. From the selection of woods to the final appointments and hand-rubbed finish, our instruments are of the finest quality we can provide. Each one is built to the specifications and playing needs of the individual owner and guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of completion.
